In September I asked for prayers for my brother in law Mark who had just received a lung cancer diagnosis. Their family was overwhelmed by the 104 prayers that were offered for Mark. God bless you Church! It has been an up and down journey for Mark and his family, but they were generally encouraged and optimistic. On Thursday we learned that, as a side effect of his chemo, Mark has contracted a very rare blood cancer that is incurable and was given a prognosis of months to a year life span. This has been devastating to our entire family.
