Update: Thank you for the prayers! Katie's surgery was successful. Please continue to pray for Katie's recovery that it will be uneventful and that God will help Katie with strength and patience to make it through the long recovery time while being a mom to two small kids.
*Original request: Please pray for our daughter Katie who is undergoing a shoulder surgery as a result of a car accident last September. She had previously had surgery on that shoulder 1 yr ago because of a ruptured bicep. Unfortunately, the accident "undid" the previous surgery and caused additional damage to that shoulder. We are so thankful that she and her husband survived the accident. We pray for Katie's wellbeing, doctors and nurses, rehab team and her patience as she will go an extended period of time (third time in a year) where she will not be able to hold her young children.
