Please pray for my Uncle Roy and his wife, Michelle. They were evacuated from their home in Glendale, CA early this morning. Pray that they, along with their friends and neighbors, are kept safe. That their homes will remain intact, that the fires will be extinguished quickly. And that they will feel the presence of God through their whole ordeal.

We miss you dad. It's so true and we always think about you. The memories we hold of you are precious gems. Every day we think about you and your spirit is still there and in our hearts it's your voice that we hear.

Please pray for my dear friend Phyllis, 80, who’s on maintenance chemo and had to be removed from this treatment due to painful sores in mouth, preventing eating, drinking. Has passed out at home becaue of dehydration but MRI showed she had 3 mini strokes as well. Prayers they find another maintenance treatment that will not cause this side effect. Her cancer is progressing since they are taking a break for the sores to heal.

Please pray for Ray, my ex-husband, 77, who has been fighting cancer for 9 years. Six months ago, he was removed from all maintenance chemo, so his cancer has progressed tremendously with no hope of qualifying for anything else. A week ago, he was approved for a sponsorship to try an experimental treatment. Praise the Lord for this opportunity, and prayers for no extreme side effects, to reduce size of tumors, help his breathing and this terrible cough. May his remaining time be as comfortable and painless as possible.

Please pray for my friend Vickie. She had just recovered from back surgery and had a bad fall a few weeks ago requiring hip surgery and a stay in a rehab facility over the holidays. She is alone and not sure she can depend on her friend circle for help. Lord, let her feel your presence and what a comfort you can be in times of need.

Update on 8 yr. old Rosie.
Rosie is now at a rehab center to receive care and therapy. She is still unable to speak and express herself. There are signs that she is able to understand what is being communicated to her, and she is searching for ways to express her responses. Continued prayers of healing for Rosie. Strength, patience and peace for Rosie’s family, especially her 3 siblings as they move through this difficult time. May Rosie know that Jesus is constantly with her even when she feels alone. PRAY BIG!!
