Please pray for my brother, Jimmy. He was admitted in the hospital last night with COVID. There are complications due to him having emphysema. The COVID has settled in his throat so talking and eating are extremely difficult. A speech therapist saw him today to try and figure out ways to help him, but he hasn't heard back yet. We are texting back and forth as much as possible. His lungs are in very bad shape, and I ask God to wrap His loving arms around my brother and provide healing. I pray that my brother does not feel alone but feels God's presence with him. I also ask the same for all those suffering from COVID and illness. I have faith that our Heavenly Father will guide the doctors and provide strength to my brother.

Update. Please pray for our Granddaughter Lydia. Lydia has run into lung issues and is in a newborn unit for more support. She is making good progress. Please pray for Lydia's mother Michelle who tested positive for Covid and is not feeling the best. Michelle is at home recovering. Lydia is in hospital. Thanks for praying for them.

Update. Thank you for your prayers. It was a long 24 hours for my daughter in law and son but we are happy to announce the safe arrival of Lydia Michelle. Please continue to pray for all of them as they recover from a long delivery process. Thank you everyone! We are so grateful to God for this gift of life.

Good morning! My mom is currently being prepped for her surgery that should start at 9:00. It should last 2-3 hours. There is some speculation that this may not be enough to get her liver healthy enough for her to get chemo.... and at that point, our options are poor. Please lift my mom, her doctors, her nurses and everything that surrounds her with success and the continuation of once they get in there -- it's not as bad as it looked.... -suspected locally invasive: no --- suspected in her lungs: no --- suspected in her liver: no. I'm scared, yet I do feel peace that it will be okay... or I'll be okay with what will be. It hurts that I cannot go and sit with my dad. She will be in the hospital 1-3 days, depending on the outcome and her strength. She lost a lot of strength as the liver continued to drop in function while we waited 2-3 weeks for this procedure.
