Prayers of healing for my 85 yr. old father. He has Parkinson's and prostrate cancer and he fell twice this weekend. He did not break anything and is "fine". He is in the hospital and will be moving to a care facility for PT. He is very underweight and needs to gain weight and strength so he can stand and walk. This will enable him to come home. Prayers for my mother for peace, strength, and wisdom in everything involved.

Please pray for my brother-in-law who has been diagnosed with stomach and liver cancer. He had emergency surgery last week and struggles with incredible and uncontrollable pain. The final pathology test and doctors discussions are today. We're driving to be with them. Please pray for him and his wife for their strength and faith, for the doctors as they plan a course of action, and for our travels.

Continue to pray for Paula who has begun chemo for her breast cancer and has been an early-adopter of sickness. Pray that nausea subsides and that she can eat more and regain strength. Pray for her big sister to turn her eyes back to God. She's been away so long.

Please pray for any divisions within the Mequon-Thiensville school district right now. Pray for softened hearts, opened eyes, and the reminder that Jesus teaches us to respect our authorities, even when we disagree. It's hard to see our children hurting, yet we need to remember to consider the feelings of teachers and staff as well. Pray that any protests are done respectfully, safely, and out of love.

Please pray for Kaye Dries and her mission trip to Mexico from August 23-29th. She is bringing medical supplies, clothes, shoes, and food to people and organizations who have been without supplies since March, when normally they have other mission teams who support them as well. Please pray for Kaye's safety and that she and her driver are able to get to everyone and every place they support. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Praying for the pieces to fall into place with the latest bump in the road of 2020. After many expensive car repairs on one vehicle, we're looking at more costly car repairs or a second car replacement on the other. My husband and I have been going through a time of growth in our relationship as well and this just adds to the growing pains. I know God will get me through this but I'm just finally feeling the weight of 2020 crashing down on me and I'm struggling to catch my breath at the moment.
