Follow up on Denis Schmideler (who we call Grandfather the Great): We had a family zoom call this am and decided as a family not to resuscitate if my dad’s heart stops. His body is losing steam, and things are starting to shutdown. Thank you Christ Church for being there in thought and prayer as our family copes. ️

Update: Keaton’s echocardiogram was completely clear. No inflammation or damage in any way. Thank you all who prayed today. I felt a lot of support walking into his appointments today. Blessings upon this church body — active prayer life is the actual answer — brings hope, light, strength and peace ... no matter the answer we get.

An update from my friend, Paula with breast cancer, was not what we'd hoped. After chemo, radiation, and full lymph node removal, she's still pretty much where she started. Cancer was in all 24 nodes, so now they're testing other areas in search of more cancer. She just celebrated her 40th birthday. Please join me in praying boldly for complete healing.

Please pray for my dad, Denis, who is in the hospital with Covid and pneumonia. He needs strength back in his lungs to breath, and we pray he does not need to be on a vent long. Also pray for my mom as she tested positive today for Covid. Pray for them both to heal, and esp for my mom to stay strong as my dad is critical.

Please pray for my sister in law who was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer over the holidays. Today she is having a double mastectomy. Please pray for healing and patience as they navigate if she will need further treatment after the surgery.
Please also pray for my daughter who had the first dose of the Covid vaccine today. She has autoimmune issues and I pray for protection from vaccine injury, and that the vaccine protects her and keeps her healthy going forward.
